10/18/2022

SizeUpOEV provides free market research and business intelligence to help small businesses

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.—The Office of Economic Vitality (OEV) is launching SizeUpOEV on the OEV website today. SizeUpOEV uses big data, cloud computing, and computer algorithms to deliver custom analyses for local businesses. This powerful market research and business intelligence data is industry-specific and hyperlocal. By using the application, local firms can discover potential customers and suppliers, optimize marketing to ideal customers, analyze the characteristics and spending of the consumers in Tallahassee-Leon County, and rank industry performance across multiple metrics. The information can be exported to PDF or copied to a spreadsheet for use in a business plan, loan application, performance analysis, marketing campaign, and more!

SizeUpOEV levels the competitive field by providing small businesses with similar market research that generally only large corporations can afford. The data comes from hundreds of public and proprietary sources covering firmographic, demographic, geographic, labor, wage, cost, consumer spending, transportation, and more. This tool empowers small, local businesses to make informed, data-driven decisions to operate better, succeed, and grow in Tallahassee-Leon County.

OEV will host a live online demonstration and training for SizeUpOEV on October 20 at 2:00 PM via Zoom. We will review how small businesses can use SizeUpOEV to succeed better, with additional time for business owners to ask questions. Register for the event at sizeup.info/oev.
