New TLH Talent Website Launches to Connect Job Seekers, Businesses, and Community Resources

08/12/2025

The Talent Development Council has officially launched TLHTalent.com, a new online hub dedicated to empowering talent and elevating businesses across the Capital Region. The platform is the first of its kind in the area—a centralized, easy-to-navigate website offering career resources for job seekers, support for local employers, and a comprehensive view of the region’s talent ecosystem.

TLH Talent was developed collaboratively by the Talent Development Council (TDC), which brings together key education, economic development, and workforce leaders from across the region. The site is designed to serve as a go-to resource for anyone navigating education, employment, and workforce opportunities in the Tallahassee area.

The initiative is supported by seven regional partners:

  • CareerSource Capital Region
  • Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce
  • Leon County Schools
  • Lively Technical College
  • Office of Economic Vitality
  • Tallahassee State College
  • The Able Trust

“TLH Talent is an incredible step forward for our students and families,” said Sunny Chancy, Assistant Superintendent of Leon County Schools. “It helps students see what’s possible beyond graduation and gives them the tools to start building their future — whether that’s college, a career, or technical training.”

“When we help people find their path and support businesses in finding great talent, we all win,” said Corrie Melton, Vice President of Membership & Talent Development at the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce. “TLH Talent fills a critical gap by unifying our community’s resources and showcasing the depth of opportunity in our local economy.”

“TLH Talent represents the future of workforce development in our region,” said Darryl Jones, Deputy Director at the Office of Economic Vitality and Leon County School Board Member. “It connects education and employment in a way that’s clear, actionable, and designed to serve our entire community.”

The site includes industry spotlights, training opportunities, and direct links to job boards, transportation assistance, childcare providers, and more — all with the goal of strengthening the local talent pipeline and supporting the Capital Region’s economic growth.

This project was made possible by a grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation Fund at the Community Foundation of North Florida.
