Six Tallahassee companies were ranked as some of this year’s best places to work in Florida, by Florida Trend Magazine.

Capital City Bank, MCCi, Moore Communications Group, Rogers Gunter Vaughn Insurance, Partners in Association Management and Ausley McMullen were all named to the list.

Florida Trend ranked the top 100 companies in Florida based on surveys completed by randomly selected employees. The survey included a questionnaire focused on company policies, practices and demographics.

Any company with at least 15 employees in Florida was eligible, including firms based outside of the state but with a presence in Florida.

The groups are categorized into large companies consisting of 250 or more, midsized companies of 50 to 249 employees and small companies containing fewer than 50 workers.

Capital City Bank was the only Tallahassee company ranked in the large company category. MCCi and Ausley McMullen were the midsized companies that made the cut. Moore Communications Group, Rogers Gunter Vaughn Insurance and Partners in Association Management were the small companies included in the ranking.
