Congratulations to Engagement & Operations Manager Lindsay Volpe for receiving the Southern Economic Development Council Educational Foundation scholarship to assist with the advancement of her professional career in economic development. The scholarship ensures that dedicated individuals are given the opportunity to become trained and prepared in economic development in the U.S. Lindsay is working toward completing the required coursework to sit for the Certified Economic Developer exam (CEcD).
Her passion and commitment to economic vitality in Tallahassee – Leon County is made evident in her contributions to OEV during the last year. Building off her desire to drive economic vitality in Florida’s Capital, she now leads the division’s business retention and expansion initiative, CapitalLOOP, and has built a database to track OEV’s success metrics. Additionally, Lindsay’s previous participation in the globally renowned Americas Competitiveness Exchange (ACE) helped secure Tallahassee – Leon County’s inclusion and North-Central Florida’s selection for the ACE 8 tour in December 2017, for which she is a key organizer.
