The 2022 Strategic Plan provides a new suite of focused, mission-critical strategies that builds on the foundational activities of the original to further diversify the Tallahassee-Leon County economy.
5-Year Impact Report (2016-2021)
In 2016, Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency Board of Directors (City of Tallahassee Commission and Leon County Board of County Commissioners) adopted Tallahassee-Leon County’s first-ever long-term Economic Development Strategic Plan. By 2021, the Office of Economic Vitality completed or initiated 87% of the Strategic Plan target goals.
City of Tallahassee, Leon County, and Blueprint Disparity Study (2019)
The City of Tallahassee, Leon County Government, and Blueprint conducted a disparity study review to identify disparity in contracting. The Disparity Study serves as the evidentiary basis for continued race/gender-based programs with the overall objective to determine if a “compelling interest” to maintain programs to provide procurement opportunities to minority and women-owned businesses exist.
Target Industry Study (2018)
The Target Industry Study identifies four industry sectors that contribute to private sector job growth, wealth creation, and a diversification of the economy. These industries have a strong potential for growth and interconnect with each other, which maximizes resources and enhances opportunities for innovation and sustainable economic vitality.
